Bristol VR Lab is going to be hosting its first “Afternoon Seminars” event between 1-2pm on 18th January, 2018. The theme for the session is “Architectural Visualisation, planning and surveying using VR/AR”. BVRL will be inviting local companies working in the surrounding fields along with VR and AR professionals in the area.

Ossian Whiley is co-founder of Whiley + Blake, an interactive media studio based in Bristol but he started his career in CAD, BIM and emerging technology analysis. He will be providing a frank overview of the immersive media spectrum, highlighting where these technologies can add value to existing processes and where significant hurdles still exist.

“Simon Trew, architect and Regional Director at Stride Treglown’s Cardiff studio, discusses the potential for immersive visualisation to transform the way design teams create, collaborate and communicate.”
