Bio: Throughout my career I have worked with different VR platforms (e.g. HMDs, CAVE environments and immersive VR driving simulators) and with healthy or vulnerable participants (e.g. older adults with age-related physical and cognitive impairments, children with ADHD). In 2016, under my maiden name of Alexandra Negut, I completed my PhD under the supervision of Professor Daniel David (at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania) where I focused on the validity of VR in neuropsychological assessment in healthy and clinical populations.
Since September 2016 I was appointed Research Fellow in the Department of Psychology and Bristol Robotics Laboratory, UWE Bristol studying HMI design for driverless cars. I have a broad interest in VR, HMI, human factors and clinical psychology. Recently, I have just started my 3-year Prize Fellowship at the University of Bath with Professor Danae Stanton Fraser as my mentor.
